West Ham are poised to make a move for Bournemouth winger Arnaut Danjuma, according to TEAMtalk.
Despite Bournemouth enduring a less than comfortable season so far, Danjuma has remained in excellent form throughout, bagging 10 goals and 4 assists in 25 Championship appearances.
The 24-year-old Dutch international, who was born in Nigeria, has made 2 international appearances for Oranje.
Danjuma joined Bournemouth from Belgian side Club Brugge back in August 2019 for a fee of £13.7m.
Like many of Bournemouth’s players, Danjuma possesses the quality of a Premier League player. An immediate return to the Premier League with Bournemouth is unlikely given their patchy form and current league position (7th), however, there’s a chance he could feature with West Ham after impressing with his performances in the Championship this season.
The Hammers have looked to the Championship for attacking talent over recent years, signing Jarrod Bowen from Hull City and Saïd Benrahma from Brentford, both of whom have proved successful acquisitions.
David Moyes will be aware that he needs to strengthen again this summer as his side look set to qualify for Europe next season. Questions also remain over the futures of Manuel Lanzini and Andriy Yarmolenko. Could Arnaut Danjuma be another smart signing by the Hammers?
